Final Fantasy XII
Voice Actor: N/A
Ashe initially appears at the start of Final Fantasy XII, as we bear witness to her marraige ceremony. She becomes married to Rasler, but their bond is only shortlived as Rasler is killed shortly after.
Ashe mourns Raslers passing and it hits her extremely hard. Following the events that take place, Ashe goes into hiding but many believe that she has actually taken her own life.
Leading The Resistance
Ashe returns shortly after Vaan has stolen the treasure from the Dalmascan vault. Their paths cross as she is trying to infiltrate the castle through the sewers. However, she's trapped and needs Vaan's assistance to escape. She introduces herself as Amalia, but her union with Vaan, Balthier and Fran doesn't last very long.
They are shortly overwhelmed and Ashe is captured. From here, she is taken to the Dreadnought Leviathan, where she is held captive by Judge Ghis.
Escaping The Dreadnought Leviathan
Basch is able to escape with the help of Balthier and they subsequently manage to free Ashe. However, while she claims that she will not place her trust in the sword of a traitor, the scenario dictates that she has no alternative.
While they're escaping, they are again captued by Judge Ghis. He engages in combat with them, and comments about Ashe's father, spurring her on to victory. Shortly afterwards, they head back to Bhujerba in order to speak with the Marquis Ondore.
Striking A Deal With The Devil
Frustrated at the lack of action on the part of the Marquis, Ashe decides to take matters into her own hands. She attempts to steal Balthier's airship in order to retrieve the Dusk Shard, but fails.
Balthier however manages to strike a deal which would paint him as the villain in return for some of the treasure. He manages to "kidnap" her, so that she can try and reclaim her birthright.
The Tomb of Raithwall
Before entering the Tomb of Raithwall, Ashe explains the history behind the shards. King Raithwall was given three relics: the Midnight Shard, the Dawn Shard and the Dusk Shard. The Dawn Shard was given to her ancestors, and the Dawn Shard was hidden, with its location only given to those with royal descent. However, without proof of her lineage it may be difficult to obtain the relic.
This is only a minor issue though, as when they approach the shard, they are attacked by an Esper, Belias. He is defeated, but before Ashe is able to obtain the Dawn Shard, she sees an illusion of Rasler.
An Unexpected Visitor
Ashe decides to accompany Larsa to Mt. Bur-Omisace to see Gran Kiltias Anastasis for advice about what to do. However, while they're talking to Gran Kiltias, they are interrupted by Al-Cid, who is there to speak with Larsa.
The party is cut short by the arrival of the Empire, specifically Judge Bergan. He shows no remorse and kills Gran Kiltias, but is dispatched himself shortly after. Following the battle, Al-Cid offers Ashe a safe haven in Rozarria, but she declines.
Attempting To Destroy The Dawn Shard
Ashe decides to head to Giruvegan, with the hopes of destroying the Dawn Shawn. However when she arrives, she is approached by the Occuria. They claim that Ashe has been chosen to essentially fulfill the same task as the Dynast King. They would like her to find the Sun-Cryst and create some new shards by using the Treaty Blade.
They are hoping that Ashe will use the power of the Dynast-Kings to destroy Venat, a rogue Occuria and after reunited with the rest of the team, she seeks out the Sun-Cryst.
Upon finding the Cryst at The Pharos at Ridorana, Ashe decides that instead of harnessing its power, she will destroy it. Just as she is about to do so, Reddas stops her, and he takes his own life to accomplish the task.
The Rightful Heir
Ashe assists the rest of the Rebellion in crushing the Empire, as they defeat the Sky Fortress Bahamut and Vayne Solidor. With the Empire now defeated, Dalmasca is free from its oppressive rule and Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca is crowned as the Queen of Dalmasca.
