Lunafreya Nox Fleuret is one of the main characters in Final Fantasy XV, replacing Stella Nox Fleuret to take a prominent role within the story. She was therefore not present within the original Final Fantasy Versus XIII plot-line.

Hailing from Tenebrae, Lady Lunafreya has immense power. She is revered as an Oracle, and has the ability to talk to the gods. Due to her status, despite being under the rule of the Niflheim Empire, Tenebrae still has some degree of autonomy.

Lunafreya is due to appear as a guest character throughout the main campaign and although she is romantically involved with Noctis, the pair will not have a "generic love story". The relationship is therefore more deep rooted, being compared to that between friends or father and son.
