A Week In Final Fantasy XIV: We Are The Lords Of Dance

Written by Lauren — 16 Nov 2015

Another week down in Eorzea; another silly dance to take part in. This week's adventures offered us some more information on Final Fantasy XIV's story as well as some job specific quests.

See last week - Ooo, Watcha Say Guardian Tree

Darryl started off with his "Violators will be Shot" quest, whereas I finished off my "Trial By Water" quest. From this I learned the ability "Fluid Aura" which is a pretty nasty one. It knocks back enemies and can also bind them while dealing water damage. I can't do it as often as I can Stone or Cure, but it still seems to be quite useful.

After this, we decided it'd be best to continue the story quests so we completed our "Renewing the Convenant" quest in which we had to wear really odd looking masks while parading around with Kan-e Senna. Unfortunately, we had another black out moment, but this time our vision offered us some insight into what happened at the Battle of Carteneau.

It was then time to ride in the airship! Our first stop was Limsa Lominsa where we had a little chat with Merlwyb and then we traved on to Ul'Dah where we spoke with Raubahn. We also got to meet the *cough*Judges*cough* Er, I mean Imperial Legatus who look very menacing.

I was then able to complete my hunting log but unfortunately, Darryl was unable to complete his as we had our butts handed to us by a couple of Redbelly Poachers. In the end, we headed back to Limsa Lominsa accepting the "Beauty Is Only Scalp Deep" quest right before signing off.
