New Screenshots And Details On Prishe In Dissidia 012

Written by Colin — 09 Feb 2011

New images of Final Fantasy XI's Prishe in Dissidia 012 have surfaced. Jump Magazine confirmed her as a playable character, noting that she is a monk-type fighter akin to Tifa Lockhart of Final Fantasy VII.

Shonen Jump also revealed that Aya Hirano will be lending her voice for the character. Hirano is famed for her performances in many video games and anime series like Hana from Yakuza, Kanonno from Tales of the World, Haruhi from The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi and Konata from Lucky Star.

Dengeki described her combat style as a "combo maker." Players will be able to chain combos together and even create combos in the abilities menu, making Prishe the most customizable character in Dissidia 012.

Talking about her abilities, Prishe can cast Banishga, which when connected, sends opponents flying. Other skills include Asuran Fists and her EX Burst, Itsutsu no Kagayaki, which will require some fast button input reflexes.

Prishe apparently plays a guest like role in the game's story mode and her final battle stage, Empyreal Paradox, is from the Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promathia expansion pack.
