Final Fantasy X-2 HD Shown Off In Jump Magazine

Great news everyone, we've now got our first look at Final Fantasy X-2 HD, courtesy of the Japanese magazine called Shonen Jump.

Unfortunately, it's a very brief glimpse of the game, as Jump magazine only had a small page spread, which as mostly just made up of concept art from the original game.

The dialogue highlights the importance of Yuna, Rikku and Paine, but if you've already played the original game, then you'll know exactly how important those young ladies are to the main story.

If you don't know, the entire premise of Final Fantasy X-2, is that Yuna discovers a dress sphere that contains a video of what she believes to be Tidus. Thus, she embarks on a quest to find out if Tidus really is still alive, all while being accompanied by her long friend Rikku and new party member, Paine.

It split fans when it first came out, due to the rather "camp" nature of some of the content. However, it still provided a very solid gameplay experience.

Square Enix has stated currently that both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 HD will be the international versions. However, there's been no comment so far on whether the Last Mission from Final Fantasy X-2 will be included as part of the package.

As soon as more information is revealed on this matter, we'll be sure to let you know. Until then, please take part in our Final Fantasy Union Survey!
