Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Dated For PS4

Good news folks, Square Enix has been kind enough to give Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on PS4 a release date! It's due for release on the 12th of May in North America and the 15th of May in Europe.

The dirt was also dished on what this version will bring to the table, aside from being an HD Remaster. The game has already release on the PS3 and PS Vita, so it's at least pleasing to know that some additional effort has been put in to warrant some extra attention.

Indeed, Square Enix states that the graphics have been further improved to ensure it matches expectations from a PS4 title. You will also be able to choose between listening to the original soundtrack or the remastered soundtrack. This version will also get in on the cross-save action, but as was the deal before, you have to purchase the other versions separately to be able to take advantage.

When it comes to pre-orders, those in the PAL territories will be given access to a limited edition Steelbook that will feature the wonderful art of Yoshitaka Amano (pictured). In North America, the pre-order perk will be slightly different as it comes in the form of a Final Fantasy X themed calendar.
