At Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest 2017 in Frankfurt, Germany, Square Enix has revealed the Japanese cover art for Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood. It is designed by known other than Akihiko Yoshida, the game's character designer. You can view it above.

In addition, Naoki Yoshida, the producer and director of Final Fantasy XIV has revealed he and his team in Business Division 5 are still hoping to add Blitzball to the game. He adds it will likely be different to the version in Final Fantasy X but he didn't say anything about Final Fantasy X-2's.

Yoshida also revealed they're working on PlayStation 4 Pro enhancements for the game. They're focusing on improving the game's performance rather than the resolution.

Yoshida has also once again reiterated he wants to see Final Fantasy XIV on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch but it will not happen unless cross-platform play is allowed.
