Tabata confirms mods and other new features exclusively for Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition

At gamescom 2017, IGN hosted Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata and translator Gavin to check out Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition and Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition.

While showcasing a new look at Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition, Tabata confirmed it is completely optimised and customised for PC and will feature a keyboard and mouse control scheme. This is important since most Final Fantasy ports on PC have little or no mouse support.

Tabata also stated they will probably be able to announce the final specs for Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition in late Autumn.

Tabata also made it clear they are not planning any PC version exclusive DLC but there are a number of game features they will only be doing for the PC version and one of those is mod support. More information about that may take awhile however.

When asked what mods he'd like to see Tabata said he'd love to see Noctis and co. as Mario and Link.

Finally they also talked about the Pocket Edition some more.

You can watch it below.
