Hajime Tabata, the director of Final Fantasy XV and head of Business Division 2 was recently interviewed by DualShockers and he had some interesting things to say.

Firstly, Final Fantasy XV will run natively in 3K on Xbox One X and will be upscaled to 4K via checkerboarding.

Next, the Windows Edition also supports Windows Sonic.

Tabata also stated they don't have any plans to bring the avatar creation system into the main game. There are also no plans to make the DLC story episodes apart of the main game.

Tabata revealed he's a fan of the Assassin's Creed franchise and he's favourite games are Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate. Also seems his favourite Final Fantasy games are now VII and VIII.

Tabata also revealed the single player portion of Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV is about 6 hours.

And lastly, he also said "we definitely have another project in mind for VR."
