Square Enix and DeNA have revealed in the second Producer Letter for the global version of Final Fantasy Record Keeper that Square Enix's Octopath Traveler is coming to the game in a new collaboration event.

The event titled 'Crossing Paths', will begin on September 12 at 5PM PST. The global version will be getting this event "a little earlier" than the Japanese version.

The event dungeons will of course feature bosses and music records from the game. Characters Olberic and Primrose will be the focus of the event.

In addition to this, Final Fantasy Record Keeper producer Ichiro Hazama revealed that they also considered doing a collaboration event with Bravely Default which is of course made by the same team (Business Division 11) as Octopath Traveler and if this collaboration does well "they will discuss doing Bravely Default" as well.

You can see Hazama, development producer Yu Sasaki and Octopath Traveller producer Masashi Takahashi discuss the collaboration and how it started below. The video also features some questions and answers, and details on other upcoming game content.
