Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition coming to PS4 and Switch in 2019

Square Enix has announced that a high definition remaster of the 2003 GameCube game, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2019.

The western version will be available in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish with English audio. There is currently no word on dual-audio support.

It will feature four-player online multiplayer and new content.

This announcement is no doubt made to help celebrate the game's 15th anniversary.

This will also mark the sub-series' debut on a non-Nintendo platform.

There is currently no word on a PC version meaning it could come later but it's strange to see it not coming to PC right away since it's not a timed exclusive for PlayStation unlike titles like Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster and World of Final Fantasy.

Hopefully this leads to re-releases of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as King and My Life as a Darklord as well.
