Just like really everything in the Final Fantasy XV Universe and to be honest, most Square Enix stuff, Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades standalone version has been officially delayed.

Square Enix confirmed this at Tokyo Game Show 2018 and stated more information will be released soon. The standalone version was supposed to be released in Summer 2018.

No other details regarding the standalone version are currently available.

Square Enix also said earlier this year that they would be adding cross-play between the Xbox One and PC versions of Comrades, it's expected to be added when the standalone version launches.
