Square Enix releases Final Fantasy 'Something for Everyone' video

During Microsoft's Inside Xbox presentation, Square Enix released a video titled "FINAL FANTASY Something for Everyone".

It features all of their latest/recent ports including Final Fantasy VII for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, Final Fantasy IX for Xbox One and Switch, Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy! for PlayStation 4 and Switch, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for Xbox One and Switch, Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age for Xbox One and Switch and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition for PS4 and Switch.

It's nice to see them stop including Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition or World of Final Fantasy Maxima as much in these things since they've been available for quite awhile now. But it's weird to see them list Final Fantasy IX's existing platforms when they don't for the other games.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition also seems like an odd one out since it's still listed for 2019 and probably won't be released until around September.

It's also silly and amusing to see the standard "development footage shown, subject to change" since the games would be done or just about done now when they don't for the last game when it's clearly not.

It's also very easy to make the joke "except for Final Fantasy VIII fans" in response to the video.

Check it out below.
