The next installment in Square Enix's Original Soundtrack Revival Disc series is none other than Final Fantasy VIII which is fittingly celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Final Fantasy VIII Original Soundtrack Revival Disc will be released on Blu-ray in Japan on December 4, 2019.

It will feature 74 tracks from Final Fantasy VIII's Original Soundtrack which were of course composed by Nobuo Uematsu with lyrics by Kazushige Nojima.

As with the other releases in this series you will be able to listen to the music while watching footage from the game. You can also import MP3 files from the disc.

It will also come with a booklet featuring comments from staff who worked on the game. Final Fantasy VII had a similar booklet and it featured comments from Yoshinori Kitase, Tetsuya Nomura, Motomu Toriyama and Kazushige Nojima. So it seems very likely this one will also feature Kitase, Nomura and Nojima plus someone like Hiroki Chiba.

Early purchases will also come with a postcard.

You can check out a preview for it below along with its official website here.
